Amy Fantozzi, MS, LCPC

Public Health Program Specialist


Amy joined the Montana Public Health Institute (MTPHI) in December 2024 as a Public Health Program Specialist.  In this role, she supports behavioral health initiatives and provides technical assistance to communities navigating crisis diversion.  Amy has a deep passion for public health and enjoys working collaboratively in the development innovative programs that support health equity and well-being for all Montanans.   

Amy is dedicated to improving and promoting public health across the state and at the local level and currently serves as the chair for Lincoln County Board of Health and has also been an active member of the Crisis Response Team. 

Amy started her work in Public Health in Lincoln County, Montana, where she had the opportunity to be involved in several programs including a local initiative to build local capacity, partnerships, and infrastructure to address the gaps in crisis intervention and behavioral health systems.  After several years at the health department, she worked for Western Montana Mental Health Center as the program lead to develop the Montana Assertive Community Treatment program in Lincoln County.  Since earning her master’s degree in clinical counseling, she has been providing direct mental health services in Libby.

Amy is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in health and wellness psychology from the University of Arizona.  In her downtime, she enjoys being outside and spending time with her family.
